As anyone who's fished the Bay Point Invitational knows, at our marina the price of fuel is never subject to a mark-up during the event.

We're doing something at Bay Point about the high price of fuel by offering substantial savings for participating yachts in the 2008 Bay Point Invitational Billfish Tournament. By teaming with our fuel supplier and offering cost based volume discounts, we're able to offer vastly reduced fuel pricing to our participants.

Bay Point Marina is pleased to announce a major discount program offering $.35 per gallon off the regular pump price to tournament yachts on purchases up to 1,000 gallons. And it gets better. On single sales of more than 1,000 gallons, we’ll take an additional $.05 per gallon off the price.

Here’s the effect: If the tournament was held today, the cost to tournament yachts on purchases greater than 1,000 gallons would result in a savings of $400. Over the course of the event your savings could easily exceed $1,000—it's the next best thing to getting free fuel!

But here's the important part. As anyone who has fished the Invitational knows, at Bay Point the price of fuel is never subject to an increased mark-up during the tournament. The same aggressive pricing schedule which is in effect all year remains in effect during the event.

This has been our policy for the past 24 years and we're not about to change it now. So let's go fishing and enjoy all the fun things the Invitational is known for—great parties, exciting live entertainment (wait until you see the band for Wednesday evening's Kick-Off party this year), the bars (more of those), the famous dock walk, the live TV on CSS Sports to 6 million homes and this year… great fuel pricing!
